PHARR PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY
PHARR, TEXAS

COMPLETED:
SIZE:

2003
46,000 GSF

This project incorporates a complete court facility with the City of Pharr's new Police Headquarters. The large site allows for future building expansion, and the immediate need for a firing range and tactical training facility.

The facility is designed to compliment local architecture and use building materials that are common to the area in southern Texas. A public plaza that responds to the geometry of the building unites both the Police and Court zones, creating an exciting exterior public space. A dramatic two-story vaulted lobby spans through the building, creating a space that can be enjoyed by community members as well as the Police Department personnel.
