GRAND ISLAND LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER
GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA

COMPLETED:
SIZE:

2008
46,000 GSF

This facility is designed to house the Grand Island Police Department as well as operations of the Hall County Sheriff’s Department. The unique shape of the facility was selected to provide a unique offering reflecting the significant public icon status that facilities of this nature become to a community. At the same time, cost reducing choices were made, such as a flat roof and rooftop mechanical units concealed behind an attractive circular screen. A high priority was placed upon attempting to provide most occupants of the facility a window. Covered decks are provided for the Police Chief, the Sheriff, Investigators, and for users of the employee lounge.
