With the Brenham Police Department having outgrown their previous facility, a new two-level, 24,000 square foot facility was designed to meet their current and future operational needs.

So that the facility would fit comfortably within the context of the surrounding community, the facility is designed with a traditional feel but with contemporary lines. Exterior covered storage for police tactical vehicles is included and the entire site is masterplanned to accommodate a future fire station.

The new lobby areas provide easy public access to police records, investigations, administration, a multi-purpose training room, and community room. Since the existing facility was lacking in access control and surveillance, a full-featured system was designed to provide a more secure facility.
